one egg a day reduces degeneration of skeletal muscle
Forget
folklore, today’s fountain of youth runs yellow and comes with toast. We
don’t know if it came before the chicken, but eating one egg a day
reduces degeneration of skeletal muscle and protects against some of the
health risks that come with ageing, including heart disease and blindness, according to Journal of Nutrition & Food Science.
Currently being branded the new superfood, eggs are abundant in
compounds that reduce macular degeneration and preventtheloss of
important proteins in your body. This does not mean thatthewhites are an
effective anti-ageing cream, though.
