Asparagus is loaded with good nutrients, among them being vitamins A, E, K, C, B6, potassium, manganese, calcium, iron, copper, selenium, glutathione, inulin, fiber, and protein.
Some of the nutrients in asparagus are anti-inflammatory, which help your body combat illnesses such as asthma, arthritis, cancer, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and some auto-immune illnesses.

Asparagus also contains nutrients that are antioxidants, which help keep your body free of toxins that age you prematurely and compromise your immune system.
