Calorie burning equal Fat loss

Calorie burning is crucial for weight maintenance. If we want to maintain a healthy weight, the amount of calories consumed can’t be bigger than amount of calories burned during our usual activity.
The activities, listed below, for the stated time periods burns about 150 calories (it should be noted, that the number of calories burned is based on man or woman of average size with average muscle mass):
150 calories are burned during 15 minutes of:
- stair walking;
- shoveling snow;
- jumping rope;
- running one and a half miles at ten minutes a mile;
- bicycling four miles.

20 minutes of:
- playing basketball;
- swimming laps.
30 minutes of:
- raking leaves;
- walking two miles at fifteen minutes a mile;
- doing water aerobics;
- pushing a stroller one and a half miles;
- dancing fast (social);
- bicycling five miles;
- basketball (shooting baskets);
- walking one and three-quarter miles at a rate of twenty minutes per mile.
45 minutes of:
- gardening;
- playing volleyball;
- playing touch football.
60 minutes of:
- washing windows;
- washing/waxing a car.
To make it easier to imagine, as an example can be provided food which contains about 150 calories:
- one cup cappuccino with one teaspoon of sugar,
- 22 almonds;
- 11 ounces of fresh squeezed orange juice;
- 1/3 cup o packed raisins and so on.
Thus, as you can see, 150 calories are not too much when we are talking about food, but are quite a lot when we are talking about activity burning them.
